As the students are able to demonstrate proficiency in differing mathematical topics, they will earn pieces of their soon to be hero. Upon successfully passing their first topic assessment, they will receive a LEGO headpiece. On their second, a chestpiece, and finally the legs, every additional exam they receive proficiency on will earn them accessories for their heroes. These heroes will be kept on the wall in labeled ziplocs pinned to my corkboards as a source of motivation for the students, so that they may look up and see what they're working for, which to them will be just building their hero, when in actually they're building up themselves.
