These tuners will help students build aural skills, helping them to be in tune with each other as they play. A band that is in tune always sounds the best! These tuners are also equipped with metronomes, helping students practice more efficiently by being able to maintain a steady beat. This tool will help students practice on their own inside and outside of the classroom. This will help build student self-efficacy. Self-motivated students work harder on their own, becoming more prepared for class so we as a band can work on the “big idea” of a piece of music instead of taking time to work with one section over and over. This helps the entire band be able to perform more difficult, more exciting music.
