Your support will help the girls basketball team as we once again attempt to compete in our inaugural season. These girls are a select few who received an opportunity to attend a brand new public school through a lottery. Coming from all walks of life, my students range in ethnicity, family background and educational background. What brings these students together is the belief and drive of participating in "college doing culture". Our school is an early college school in which ALL students will graduate with not only their high school diploma but also an associates degree. This rigorous program pushes students to take extra classes each semester, summer classes and complete college level courses during their high school years. These girls sacrifice a great deal of traditional high school as they redefine the term student athlete.
