The enrollment at Henry L Marsh is 750. As the librarian I will serve K - 5 students. Over 80% of these students are residents of Public Housing and come with different backgrounds. As a librarian, teaching digital aged students, its my responsiblility to challenge students's innate ability to learn and discover a variety of resources and skills that every 21st century librarian should know. Every student possesses the skills necessary to learn. This school year will begin with virtual teaching as the means of educating our students. I will assist students with meeting the standards of learning while fostering innovation and creativity. I will engage students to use research skills, acquire an appreciation to use a variety of digital resources to enhance their curisority in a variety of subjects. I will nurture students to become responsible, compassionate and most of all life long learners.
