I teach a general education kindergarten class that is comprised of students of all capabilities. Many of my students come from families who are new to the country, therefore they are learning the English language. I also have some students who require special services. My students come from varied backgrounds with different economic needs. I am excited that my boys and girls are reading and writing! Many of them are reading at second grade level and I am very proud of them for that. They come to school everyday eager to learn.
