We are a public special education preschool for students ages 3-5 years old in California. We have a population of approximately 200 students. My students have a variety of special needs such as orthopedically impaired, autistic, speech/language delays, hearing/visually impaired, various syndromes and medically fragile. Students receive classroom services as well itinerant services such as speech/language therapy and occupational/physical therapy. Since our students have such a wide array of abilities, accommodations are made so that the children may fully benefit from a quality early childhood education. Funding is regularly needed from the community to create and maintain a high quality program, where the environment remains engaging, interactive and purposeful to the development and growth of our students.
