Our local library will be providing full library services to the students in our program. The children's librarian provides an interactive read aloud and a music/movement activity. This year the library will also be allowing students to check out books and take them home. Library time makes reading fun and enjoyable for all of the children. We look forward to it each week. The librarian is very interactive and is able to keep the students engaged through a variety of reading materials, activities and songs. The children take this experience home and share it with others. It provides them with so many early literacy skills and experiences. We need a comfortable place to enhance this experience. We would like to add this carpet to the space in order for our classes to be engaged as a large group.
