My students are extremely energetic, creative and eager to learn. They live in a low income community where all students qualify for free lunch. 85% of the population is Hispanic so a large number of my students are English Language Learners. We are in desperate need of hands-on manipulatives to provide all students an equal opportunity to engage confidently in hands-on practice.
