eSports offers students who may not normally be involved in after school activities an opportunity to be engaged and interact with fellow students in activities that develop social skills offered by traditional sports. Every week I get to see students come to an after school event with high energy and excitement and ready to play and work together! Currently, we are restricted to a single platform game of League of Legends. I'm requesting a Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game. By adding a Switch to our program we can reach even more students through a popular game that offers many levels of team work and skill development and a fun and exciting format.
