Students are excited about learning new things. We have a lot of students that have great ideas and need an outlet such as games and activities for their voice to be heard. Many of our students come from single parent families and are in charge of taking care of younger siblings. This burnden must be tremendous. If we as teachers can lighten their load by providing them with helpful information then we are helping that child and everyone that comes in contact with them. Being able to recieve items that we could not otherwise afford would allow the students to benifit from information. By being able to be pysically in contact with materials allws for healthier choices. We as teachers with the right resources give them the best opportunity to succeed. We are a low income school district so our funding for Health and Physical Education is very limited due to money being used elsewhere. Students make project to show understanding of a unit any extra helps to infulence their understanding.
