The river tank ecosystem will be used a tool to teach students about their local environment. With the river tank ecosystem, students can observe creatures in their natural habitat and share in the responsibilities of taking care of it. Although we live in a rural area, some students still do not get to enjoy the wonders of the outdoor environment that is so fun and rewarding. Students will share the responsibilities of caring for the tank and it's contents. Watching creatures in their natural habitat will give students a better understanding and appreciation for the living things that are in the ecosystem in their own communities.
