Last year, I served as the advisor to a brand-new tabletop gaming club at our school - and it was met with immediate interest by the students. We consistently drew 20-30 students to each club meeting, and the word was out that it was one of the best clubs on campus! New students came each week, and we discovered that over 200 students came to at least one meeting to check things out. More students = more games needed. We need to continue building our gaming library. The games that we are using are provided by generous donations from amazing gamers, board game companies, and my own personal library. Often, students arrive to the meetings and they are looking to play a game that they have heard about - but we don't have it. Your donation to this project will make a huge difference with our students' learning. Playing table games increase critical thinking skills, develops social skills, and provides opportunities for collaboration and teamwork in fun and unique ways. These skills are sought after by our students' future colleges and employers. Help us build these skills by contributing to this amazing student-led club.
