The furniture I am requesting for the Wellness Center already has a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The carpet and two of the chairs will be placed in one of our therapy rooms that needs some TLC. This room has been used as a catch all for wayward items and has not been the relaxing room the students need it to be. The remaining chairs will be used in two of the smaller therapy rooms for community-based organizations and masters' level interns to meet with students. The lamps will go into our waiting room to create ambient lighting, which helps to settle down a student who may be having a difficult time. These materials will make our Wellness center more comfortable for students when they are accessing Wellness services. The Wellness Center is one of the only places on campus the students feel welcome and respected; and they appreciate having us there to support them.
