My high school students are resilient learners who rise to every challenge presented in English Literature. They respect the classroom environment we’ve built together and are motivated to excel. As lifelong learners, they are eager to stretch their wings. In just one semester, I see them grow in confidence and capability, preparing to soar into their next English course with the skills and mindset needed for success. My hope is that they continue to work hard and carry that momentum forward. My classroom operates with clear structure and consistency. Students understand the routines, expectations, and the mutual accountability we share. I demonstrate my commitment to them by being present, supportive, and steadfast in upholding high standards. In turn, they take pride in meeting those expectations and strive not to fall short of the goals we’ve established together.
