My student has little travel experience and has lived in a rural area his entire life. With this trip, he will be able to experience a major city and a new way of living. He will also have the opportunity to compete nationally to see where he ranks compared to other students in the nation. This will help give him confidence in his own ability to succeed in the future. Through this trip, my student will learn leadership through travel and culture becoming a more holistic person. He will gain real-life experiences that will transfer later on in his adult life. This trip will be instrumental in his academic growth and future career.
