I work in an inner city school that was heavily damaged by 2 tornados that hit during Christmas week, in 2012 and is still undergoing extensive repairs. My building will not be receiving repairs, but I've received new desks; 26 for my classes of 35. I have 50 textbooks for 78 students. The way I get around that problem is by purchasing a PDF copy of the text that I posted on my teacher webpage. Last semester I had 120 students, but this semester one of my core classes has been changed to an elective for the spring so I have a few less students. Each fall I teach 5 core classes and 1 elective and each spring I teach 4 core classes and 2 electives. The subjects I teach for the 2016-2017 year are: AP US History, AP Human Geography, Economics & Gov't, and History Research. I am always on the look out for tools to help my students conduct research, write papers, work on projects, and collaborate with fellow classmates.
