Logos are the most publicly recognizable branding a company can have. Customers can easily identity a brand by its logo and usually associate trust with logos they can identify. Most major brands look to get their logos redesigned from time to time so that their brand’s logo looks modern. Usually a new logo is unveiled when the brand takes on a new approach or direction with its products or services. My graphic design project will have students demonstrate technical illustration and vector drawing skills by redesigning a more effective school logo. We need a vinyl cutter. To fully illustrate an understanding of the different industries that utilize graphic design and identify other potential business opportunities in addition to producing a new school logo, students will apply their logo on business cards, envelopes, stationary, brochures, flyers, vinyl stickers, and across various types of printed products.
