Last year I taught a class of 32 fabulous fifth graders in the foothills of Northern California. This year I get the opportunity to loop with my students to sixth grade! The population that I teach is considered soc-economically disadvantaged. Therefore, the love, time, energy and teaching poured into them each day is much needed and well-received. My students are curious and excited about their learning; however, because of various factors (i.e. age, social/emotional well-being, health,and trauma) it is important to provide some of these children various tools and strategies to find success.

About my class
