My students need a large display teaching easel in order to ensure visibility for all during whole group lessons. They also need individual mailbox slots to store their personal work and important papers. We do most of our whole group learning in Kindergarten on the circle time rug. By having a large, mobile white board easel that allows me to model and demonstrate concepts, the students will all be guaranteed a good view of the material, during every single lesson. The easel also allows me to hang our pocket charts and display our big reading books directly on it, so I won't have to spend time shifting materials around in order to utilize the necessary resources. Mailboxes are an essential component to every classroom, as each student needs a personal space to put their completed classwork, papers being sent home and notes to and from parents. By donating to this project, you are providing a Kindergarten classroom with much needed furniture that will be utilized and enjoyed for many generations of learning to come.
