This project covers the cost of 10 Chromebooks so that students can have the resources they need in order to learn financial literacy in a technological way and complement class lectures and projects. I believe that this project will advance personal finance and economic education in students who are often the first in their families to graduate high school and attend universities. Now more than ever, the need for young people to understand student loan debt, credit scores, interest rates, and budgeting is a priority in their lives. With the chrome books, students will learn how to budget using Excel spreadsheets, create a portfolio of investments, compete against other schools in stock market competitions, and learn how to code. With your donation, you will be showing your commitment to the power of what an education in finance can do for students who are willing to use this opportunity to gain skillsets that can change their life trajectory.
