Calm Cool Corner
Funded Feb 3, 2023Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to create a refreshed new space dedicated to my students well being and that of others at school that need a space to come calm in. I know this is the beginning of something great !
Thanks for your dedication to greatness in the classroom!”

Energize, Enhance & Extend Our Learning With Technology
Funded Jan 24, 2012Thank you so much for your time and generous donations. Our classroom is stepping into the modern world via or Ipod/Nook book station. The children can now video record themselves and friends about various topics learned as well as practice math skills on their level with different loaded
apps. We've started to upload books that relate to our monthly authors and themes onto the nooks.
We go in and out of being able to receive our wireless carrier but we will figure it out. As a parent told
me most children go in and out of mobile devices when they're at home they need to have these
opportunities at school too! Thanks to you this global and motivational process is happening.
It was so nice to be able to give my students the option of reading a book or a Nook under a tree.
We plan to do a compare contrast to see which they liked better and why!
As a teacher, I'm blessed to have these new devices to learn from, teach with and hopefully inspire!
The children of today seem to need more choices and routes to a learning goal. These devices are
helping to provide that and will for a long time.
Your investment in our classroom will always mean a very special something to all of us and the
students of the future!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Fink

Funded Jan 31, 2012A thousand thank yous to all of team 9 supporters. You're contributions are awesome. They will sincerely help bring our 2012 classroom gleefully into the modern world. As soon as I receive the nooks a center will be set up in class
called connecting and all of the students will have access to read books on the nooks that compliment their current reading program on their level. We will also keep a running log of whether the book was liked, what genre it is and if the child reading it learned anything or made any personal connections to it!
Finger touching the pages will be a new experience, seeing the book in this way will be a novel experience. All of these experiences will enhance their current learning and open their eyes to learning in the modern world. You're time and contributions have changed the experiences that many children now and many down the future will have! I can't wait to share inspiring photos of the difference you've made.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Fink
