Seminole Elementary Gifted Endorsed Teacher of the Year. I have a high interest in teaching my students how to code and instruction methodologies which involve the technology that they use in their daily lives. In the next few years there will be thousands of positions open in the computer sciences. As things are now, we are incapable of filling even a fraction of those job openings. Interest in this field starts early, yet schools nationwide have not implemented the changes necessary to meet the oncoming demand. Therefore it is my focus is to create lifelong learners who will be able to utilize new and emergent technologies in order to solve the social and environmental challenges we will be facing in the future. To this end I provide my students with a challenging classroom environment that utilizes up to date, relevant, and engaging materials to meet their needs.
