My students are well-behaved, good listeners, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about learning how to read. I have 18 students and 83% of them receive free or reduced lunch. My school is a Title 1 school. I have 4 ESL students and 2 students who have speech impairment. My classroom does not have any computers and my school does not have any available for my class. The only chance for my students to use computers is only once a week for 30 minutes in the media center. Sometimes my students feel disappointed because there are times that we cannot go for a while when the school is using the media center for other school functions. Our classroom lacks technology. I only have one cassette tape player that only one person can use during our listening center. Out of desperation for my students to learn how to use technology and to learn their alphabet sounds, I let my students take turns using my old phone for alphabet apps and other reading apps that I installed.
