Flexible classrooms empower student choice, increase student engagement, and improve student participation. For flexible seating to be successful, three seating options are important. bouncing bands, comfy stools, wobble stools, as well as balance ball seats will give them options and help with the needs and sensory aids students need. Allowing students to choose their seat in their school environment empowers students to take charge of their own learning and increase engagement. As an adult, we know how difficult it can be to sit for 30 minutes, let alone all day. Students can move about just as adults are given the choice to do.
