The materials and items in this project will encourage and foster a love of reading in our fifth grade classroom. It will afford flexible seating opportunities while students work independently or in collaborative projects. The bean bags chairs are always a draw for students to get involved in a new book, while the bookcases and containers will help my students choose books that are of their genre or interest level. The rug will afford the comfort of students spreading out with great literature. My students are excited for this project and to create a great space for them to continue their love of reading.
