Students will use supplies to create their interactive notesbooks, and the snacks will fuel their brains for higher level thinking and good mental health. When students are hungry, they struggle with learning--especially math! My modern math students are encouraged to create interactive notebooks, where they can cut, glue, color and paste their note pages into a composition notebook. It makes note-taking more fun and keeps everything together. The pandemic has really affected the mental health and confidence of our students. I believe that snacks will be a positive incentive that will help encourage them to do better and reach for their dreams.
