These are tools that my students will use everyday! We don't typically use pencils in our program, pencils are too big for the little hands of our students. A lot of our fine motor skills are developed through games and activities that help strengthen the hand muscles. Our preschool program likes to utilize the shortest versions of crayons and markers. The Handwriting Without Tears Flip crayons from amazon are the perfect writing tool for my students as well as pipsqueak markers. These writing tools work best for us. Magnetic mazes also help my students work on their motor planning! I would love Fill it up Motor Jars as well as the Magnetic Shapes maze so that my students can work on their find motor skills independently. The proper tools for my students exist and I want them to have the best chance possible before heading off to Kindergarten!
