My classroom is a class of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, including some with additional special needs, language delays and learning disabilities. The classroom if a vibrant and welcoming place where students feel comfortable and free to learn academics and feel safe to acquire both English and American Sign Language at their own pace. Students work together to learn social skills and academic skills together. My students are eager and ready to learn. They are all bright and capable students who need a little extra to be fully included in school community.
