My new classroom is barebones! My students deserve a classroom that is engaging and will foster a love of reading. These materials will make my reading nook an inviting space for students to spend time and enjoy their reading. The carpet I have chosen is colorful and inviting. It will inspire students to wonder about their world. The book bins are transparent so that students can see what is inside, while also being colorful and friendly. Many of my students will be coming from a background where reading can be intimidating and a chore. These materials will help me make reading fun.
