This year I will be teaching a wonderful group of 16 students. First grade is the foundation of a child's learning path to success. My students come to school everyday ready to learn despite the different challenges they face such as learning a new language or low socioeconomic backgrounds. In my classroom, students demonstrate and practice their leadership skills everyday, and every accomplishment is celebrated. I am so happy to have them in my class and to provide them with the quality instruction and meaningful hands on activities that continue their love for learning. By the end of the school year my students will become super readers, writers, explorers, mathematicians and much more. I love my students and I am happy to be part of their learning journey.
