In his book "Closing the Attitude Gap", Baruti Kafele speaks of the importance of having an environment where learning is fostered. He states how he used his classroom to "create a classroom climate and culture that shaped my students' attitudes". I hope to do the same for my students. With the posters, I want the walls of my classroom to speak encouragement and edification to my students as I do the same standing before them. With these posters and theses supplies, my students will be able to be inspired and share that inspiration, thereby inspiring others. Students will be able to share their ideas and their learning with the white boards I have requested.. The pens and pencils will ensure that they are prepared each day for class.
