The novel Evicted by Matthew Desmond is a story of human economics and through reading it students can better understand economic concepts through real world examples. Economics can be a very intangible concept and seam only for those with millions of dollars to care about but this shows students that we make economic decisions every day and that these decisions effect their lives in a very tangible way.
