The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students are a major need in our class. I already know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The colorful chairs will go in the library and will be used for small groups. The headphones are needed as we do not have any to use while we are completing our Istation. This is imperative as they can not hear what the program is telling them to do. The blue floor chairs will be used in our writing area for small groups or if children need to take a m The pencils, pens, and other supplies will be used by the students, so that they complete each lesson. The 2 pencil sharpeners are a must, our other 2 pencil sharpeners have recently stopped working and the children are using hand held sharpeners to sharpen their pencils. With our school being located in SE OKC, our students face economic hardship. School supplies are the least of the many things my students worry about. My students deserve to have pencils and pens to write any lesson they are learning or to practice their skills. By donating to our project, you ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. You may ask yourself, how does this help. Well it is simple, each child will have access to supplies without feeling upset about not having it or having to borrow it from the teacher or a friend. By having all the supplies, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! My goal is for each one of students to be able to focus on their academics and and not worry if they have materials needed to learn.
