The variety of seating choices, along with traditional classroom seating, will give students an opportunity to take charge of their own learning. The students LOVE options. Research shows that students who have an opportunity to choose different seating increases engagement and productivity. Flexible seating also promotes academic and social motivation. The yoga balls and mats can be easily moved around the room. These can be used with the lap desks during class. The dining table and stools will serve as an option for students who like a higher view. All these options can be transported to use for group work and experiments.
