By having flexible seating options in my classroom I will be able to help students choose the best learning styles for themselves. Whether they need to wiggle, or sit, or bounce to concentrate and help them focus I want to have the options that they need individually to ensure I can create the environment where they feel comfortable to perform at their best! Brain research shows that bodies that stay in motion all stay stimulated to learn! In my effort to teach mindfulness in the classroom I want students to have options for seating as not every child can sit in a standard chair.
