Coming from the top 3 poorest areas in New England the majority of my parents can not afford to meet their child's needs. This may be financially, emotionally, or even behaviorally. My students are unable to purchase nasic school supplies, they often do not have access to books and rarely have access to technology. With times changing the struggle to keep up with the demands our educational system puts on them. Besides the socio-economic disadvantagey students are born into, they now face additional emotional, behavioral and sensory struggles daily. All support will be used to aid in my students learning, through comfort, decrease sensory triggers, and add much needed resources that students can easily access for school and for use at home! My students love to learn! They are sweet and hard to working kids that need a little extra support!

About my class
