I work in a low-income Title I school that has 100% free lunch and breakfast served to the students daily. The school is located in an inner-city area where my 24 students are facing many hardships outside of the classroom. We are a STEAM based school that believe in students that can innovate, create, learn, and grow. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This is something that educators are incorporating into classrooms for a cross-curricular, high-engagement, and problem-based learning environment. The sky is the limit for these students in a classroom where they are able to explore opportunities and options that they want to make!
