The object of teaching a child is to enable him to get along without a teacher. ~Elbert Hubbard My students are in need of inspiration, whether through a warm hug, a journey in a book, or a role model's example. These students are so hungry for knowledge, but many lack support at home and our school lacks funding for many projects. My job is to help my students to realize that they are the writers of their story, the directors of their paths. I desire to give them experiences that teach them how to think about, question, explore, challenge, and ultimately change the world around them. I'm teaching them that their current circumstances need not define their future. Together, we can change their stars. We are working towards educational goals and character development together as a classroom family! Thank you for any and all support you can give to us as we journey forward into a brighter tomorrow!
