My school is in a suburban area and is very transient, with many students in a lower socio-economic profile. The students want to do well, but may not have the resources at home. Our school is very diverse with many different nations represented. With this diversity, we celebrate it and we try to provide them with very rich experiences that they may not get anywhere else. They are able to express themselves through the arts, through music, the humanities and through science and math in our classes as well as our world-recognized magnet program. We try to encourage our students to be committed to graduate, responsible, people of integrity, respectful, punctual, and a team player as they think about their words and actions knowing that how they present themselves today will shape their goals and dreams for the future.
