I have 20 energetic first graders! They love to move while they learn. Even though it is early in the year, they have stamina for independent reading that is wonderful! They love to listen to classical music while they read, and I am a believer that listening to music helps settle them down and make them focus. They are eager to read and will be ecstatic when they get new books that they are able to read without help!
