The use of printed music is a daily activity in my classroom. From warm-up to concert prep, my students rely on music that is intact and ready to be used. Oftentimes, students who do not have a set place for their music to go will leave it loose in their backpack, or in a different class folder; this leaves their music damaged and unreadable, sometimes even lost and unable to be found again. This hinders their ability to practice at home, and can cause disruptions in class as students attempt to share sheet music with their peers. Providing durable folders will help students to have a reliable place to individually keep their music, allowing them to keep their pages fresh and ready to use, both in class and during at-home practice. These folders have been carefully selected in order to be a long-lasting solution for my students, and will benefit musicians in my class for years to come.
