Imagine a room with internet articles coming to life, Shakespearean actors alive and well and struggling students finding the self-esteem to lead presentations. This could happen for my students, if we had a projector. I teach Special Education Literature for students in grades 9-12. My students have disabilities ranging from health impairments to reading and writing learning disabilities and everything in between. We're located at a high need inner city high school. We know we have extra challenges, but that doesn't mean we aren't some of the best students in the school! We just need an extra push. In this case, we need to actually be able to visualize the ideas our teacher presents to us.
