Students enjoy reading and working most when they can choose where to be in the classroom. Currently, students can choose to read at their desks or on the floor. This project would add chill sacks (bean bag chairs)! Who wouldn't want to read in a chill sack? Of course, I can't fit 30 chill sacks in the classroom. So, this project would also provide students an opportunity to practice sharing and managing a shared space. As a reward, chill sacks could also motivate students to stay on task and hit learning goals.
