Music is a time when students get to sing, dance, and play instruments. When they come into my class, students take a break from academics, relax, and more importantly have fun while learning music standards and secretly reinforcing academic standards. Part of my job as a teacher, is to give my students a safe and comfortable place to learn! Over the summer, I have dramatically transformed music room into a fun space for my students but, I am missing one important piece- a clean and comfortable classroom rug! With this record rug, my students will be able to have a rocking time in music! Currently the only places students can sit are on hard chairs or on the floor. This takes away from the students' engagement and attitude towards the task the students are trying to complete. Please help me give my students a comfortable place to sit so we can have a great music class!
