At my school, there are limited resources for technology materials. Our school provided us with headphones a few years ago but they all stopped working and were cheap. I want to embrace technology, but the iPads and computers we have become very loud, and the classroom sounds disturb the children in groups that are reading with the teacher. The children will be so much more engaged in learning when the students who are in the technology centers are able to work quietly with headphones on, and groups reading with the teacher can focus and concentrate in a peaceful setting. I also am excited to assign one set of headphones to each child so they don't have to share, making it much more hygienic!
