Being 2nd graders, they burn a lot of energy and they're are constantly telling me they wish they got more snacks. As the school does provide them a few days, others days they don't have anything after lunch/mid afternoon. So at times we want to snack it up! Also some student don't have their own water bottle and we use our sink and small paper cups. The water bottles will allow every student to have their own. Having a mini fridge would also give us the ability to bring snacks to keep during the days such as yogurt, cheese sticks, veggies and dip, fruit. Having access to a mid afternoon snack more often will help my kids tremendously with focusing on work better. My kiddos work tremendously hard and strive to do their very best and anything I can do to assist them is reaching their full potential, I'm here for it!! They are my amazing little hummingbirds! I am so very proud and blessed to be their teacher!
