We utilize project based learning in our classroom, and the tables will allow space for them to work safely. The stools promote creativity by allowing them to wiggle and fidget in a non-distracting manner; which is proven to promote learning and boost brain activity. The movement they'll be allowed has been proven to reduce outward stimuli; allowing them to laser-focus on their work, thereby learning more. Life happens around tables, yet the only places still using desks are schools! Cooperative work places are becoming the norm (check out Google, Apple, and Facebook-collaboration is key!), so I'm setting my future presidents, doctors, nurses, teachers, lawyers, mechanics, financial advisers and senators up for success by teaching them how to work collaboratively with one another.
