I have 18 first grade students in Stamford, CT. We are in a growing school that has been expanding rapidly over the last few years. Our school is working very hard to reduce the literacy gap and achieve grade level reading for all students. We are a diverse class with many different backgrounds, needs and interests. We love to have fun and make learning interesting. We act out Reader's Theater plays, learn with apps on the iPad, partner read and write our own narrative stories. My class is so hardworking and my students try to do their best and be the best they can be.
