I work with students with speech and language impairments, who have much difficulty learning in the general education classroom and require specialized instruction to assist them. My students come from a wide variety of economic backgrounds. I am beginning to see more of my families struggle and unable to afford even some of a student's basic needs. For these families, the latest technology available that would help their children learn is not attainable.
