Our school is investing in a STEAM lab so children have the opportunity to explore, invent, and create in a non traditional school environment. STEAM adds art to STEM curriculums by drawing on reasoning, design principles, and encouraging creative solutions. We are delving into coding, engineering, constructing and designing. With these sewing machines and tools, we can construct with fabric, leaves, paper and more to create innovative designs and solutions right in our STEAM lab. This opportunity will help our students practice problem solving, perseverance, and practical life skills while feeling empowered by their capabilities.
